From 16 September 2021, we’ve reduced the charges for some of our Core Portfolios across our pension fund range.

Nothing else about these funds has changed as a result of these updates; for example the fund’s objective, Aegon risk ratings and fund managers all remain the same.

You can see the old and new charges detailed in the table below:

Fund name Old Total Charge* (%) New Total Charge* (%)
Growth Plus Core Portfolio 1.02 1.01
Growth Plus Core Lifestyle Portfolio 1.02 1.01
Growth Plus Core Portfolio Lifestyle 2028 1.02 1.01
Adventurous Core Lifestyle Portfolio (2027) 1.02 1.01

*This includes a standard 1% product charge, a fixed management fee and expenses that vary with the day-to-day costs of running the fund. Investors may pay a different product charge.

These changes will be implemented gradually across our material, so you may notice both the old and new information in use for a time.

Why we’ve reduced the charges

We regularly review and update our insured fund range as part of our commitment to provide a clear indication of costs to our customers. As a result of this, we’ve updated the asset allocations for some of our Core Portfolio’s underlying funds.

Due to these changes, some of the fund’s charges have decreased.

For more information on these funds, you can view individual fund factsheets via the ‘Fund prices and performance’ page on our website and selecting ‘Other fund ranges’.
