AEGON Masters Tennis 2010

Pat RafterIn 2009, AEGON announced a five–year title sponsorship of the very popular Masters Tennis event, held every year at the majestic Royal Albert Hall in London. Now known as the AEGON Masters Tennis, this is the season finale to the ATP Champions Tour. This unique event brings together many of the tennis greats to face each other once again.

Last year fans were treated to a host of stars including former number one and six-time grand slam winner Stefan Edberg, former Wimbledon Champion Pat Cash and twice US Open Champion Pat Rafter, who was crowned 2009 champion of the AEGON Masters Tennis. Fans also enjoyed thrilling doubles matches as well exhibition tennis from the likes of Mansour Bahrami and Henri Leconte. Read our 2009 AEGON Masters Tennis review

This year’s AEGON Masters Tennis will take place at the Royal Albert Hall from 30 November to 5 December. Eight singles players will be split into two groups of four who then compete in a round-robin format, with the winners of each group meeting in a thrilling final. There will also be competitive and exhibition doubles matches.
